I've finally found some time after the school year ended to go through some hockey photos. I hadn't covered hockey prior to the 2016-17 season, and I had some unique experiences behind the glass.

In February, I had the incredible opportunity to photograph both the Michigan vs. Michigan State game and the first round of the Big Ten Championship at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit. Being a lifelong Wings fan, it was a dream come true to visit the area that is scheduled to be torn down this year.

It was Red Berenson's last season as Michigan's Hockey coach, he announced after the season came to a lackluster close.

I also covered a few games at Yost, whose lighting (surprisingly) I found to be better than the setup at Joe Louis.
