Hello! I’m Zoey — a Chicago-based photographer with a big passion for storytelling.
Whether it’s on a football field during a national championship run or a quiet exchange during the craziness of a wedding day, we all deserve to have our precious moments captured. At my core, I care deeply about telling the stories of others.
By day, I’m a digital content marketer and freelance photographer. I’ve been both a primary and second shooter for 10+ weddings; contributed to MGoBlog (Michigan Men’s Basketball and Men’s Hockey), Maize & Blue Nation and Maize & Blue Review (Michigan Football), the University of Michigan (Women’s Basketball and Women’s Soccer); and am always open to freelance photography endeavors, even (especially) if it involves travel!
I graduated from the University of Michigan where I studied communications, photojournalism, and environmental studies. I was a senior photo editor for The Michigan Daily for three years (everything from news, sports, concerts, and features). I was humbled to receive an honorable mention from the Michigan Press Photographers Association’s annual conference while working for The Daily.
